Space Saving Furniture for Small Apartments

Small apartments are popular in modern cities. Many residents face the trouble of limited indoor area. Space saving furniture becomes an ideal solution to make full use of every corner without sacrificing comfort.

There are many practical types. Foldable dining tables can be expanded when guests come and folded flat against the wall at ordinary times. Storage beds with large drawers under the mattress hold quilts, seasonal clothes and sundries, replacing separate wardrobes or storage cabinets. Wall mounted desks and floating shelves free up floor space greatly.

Multi function design is the biggest advantage. A single piece can serve two or more purposes. For example, a sofa bed works as a sofa in daytime and a bed for guests at night. It saves the budget of buying an extra guest bed.

When buying this kind of furniture, do not blindly pursue multi functions. Check stability and load bearing capacity first. Poor quality foldable structures may shake or break easily. Keep the style simple and light. Too many complicated decorations will make small rooms look messy.

Reasonable matching of space saving furniture helps small homes stay tidy and orderly. It proves that small houses can also have comfortable and complete living functions.
